La Gallina Matta at Maison&Objet Paris 2026

From 10 to 14 September 2026, La Gallina Matta will be at Maison&Objet Paris with its new collections for the table and the home.
Alongside tablecloths, placemats, table runners and napkins, the brand brings back bath linen, cushions and home accessories, extending its universe with a new line of home fragrances.
Linen, embroidery, colour and decoration remain the thread running through a collection designed and made entirely in Italy.
The fair is the occasion to see the new LGM pieces in person and to meet the brand in Hall 6, Stand N28. The creative journey of La Gallina Matta

Every new LGM collection begins with a research process that starts in the Rome Atelier. It is here that combinations of materials, colours, motifs and proportions are studied, giving shape to an aesthetic language that stays strongly recognisable while renewing itself season after season.
The artisanal dimension remains central, but it converses with a broader design vision. Tablecloths, runners, placemats and napkins are conceived to work together: shapes, colours and embroideries can be paired, layered and reinterpreted to create different, personal mise en place.
Linen remains the starting point. Around it come other materials, finishes, embroidered borders and prints.
At Maison&Objet this language is enriched with new designs and extends once again from the table to the other rooms of the home.

The new collections on show in Paris

Among the pieces presented at Maison&Objet, particular attention goes to the materiality of the fabrics and to the possibility of creating balanced contrasts between surfaces, motifs and tones.
Nature returns through leaves, flowers, animals and small woodland elements; the sea through fish and marine creatures; Italian tradition is reinterpreted through the masks of the Commedia dell'Arte. Alongside these themes are play, the mountains and motifs devoted to the winter season and to Christmas.
Figurative designs and embroideries combine with the shapes and borders that belong to the La Gallina Matta vocabulary, giving rise to collections that can be used on their own or mixed together.
Colour continues to play a central role too: natural and deep tones sit alongside more unexpected pairings, making it possible to build monochrome tables, two-colour schemes or settings with sharper contrasts.

Material and texture: linen, raffia and tartan

Alongside the designs, research into materials remains one of the central elements of the collection.
Raffia is one of the most versatile elements of the range. Its natural texture introduces a tactile, authentic dimension, able to adapt to pared-back compositions and more elaborate mise en place alike. Used for placemats and tablecloths, it can be paired with linen and embroidery to create a contrast between different materials.
Tartan, on the other hand, brings a warmer, wintry dimension to the table. The graphic motif and the structure of the fabric suggest combinations particularly suited to interiors where the table becomes an integral part of the atmosphere.
The dialogue between raffia and tartan captures one of the most interesting aspects of LGM's research: the possibility of pairing different materials, conceived to be combined freely within the same colour universe.

Belvedere, a new interpretation of the tablecloth

Among the leading proposals of the new season, Belvedere interprets one of the most recognisable elements of La Gallina Matta: the idea of building the table through shapes and layering.
Rounded hems define its silhouette, while the decorative composition creates a strong presence on the table without sacrificing the overall balance of the setting.
The tablecloth becomes not simply a base for the mise en place, but a decorative element in its own right, able to define space and converse with the room around it.

From the table to the home

Maison&Objet also marks La Gallina Matta's return to a broader vision of living.
The collection once again includes bath linen, cushions and accessories, developed in colours and materials that coordinate with the brand's textile universe.
To these is added a new line of home fragrances, introducing an olfactory dimension to the world of La Gallina Matta.
The table remains the heart of the project, but it returns to converse with the home as a whole.

Residences, hospitality and yachting by LGM

The freedom to combine shapes, colours, dimensions and embroideries makes the La Gallina Matta collections suited to projects for private residences, hospitality and yachting.
In the private residence, LGM textiles become elements that personalise the dining room and the spaces devoted to entertaining, conversing with different materials, furnishings and architectures.
In haute hôtellerie, the table takes on a central role in the guest experience. Research into materials and the ability to develop bespoke solutions make it possible to create mise en place consistent with the identity of hotels, restaurants and luxury properties.
Yachting is an important field too, where colours, materials, shapes and dimensions can be studied in relation to the interiors and to the specific characteristics of the vessel, creating continuity between interior and table setting.
The result is not a separate collection, but an extension of the La Gallina Matta language adapted to the character of each project.

Bespoke and personalisation as an expression of the project

Alongside its aesthetic research, one of the distinctive elements of the LGM offer is the ability to develop made-to-measure solutions.
Runners and placemats can be produced to specific dimensions, adapting to marble, wood or metal surfaces; colours, embroideries and details are studied in relation to each project.
To this is added personalisation through embroidered initials, monograms and crests, with a choice of lettering and thread colour.
Personalisation thus becomes part of the design process: a means of adapting the product to the identity of a home, an interior project or a hospitality property.
