3. Product Description and Content

We make every effort to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. However, colours and details may vary depending on your screen or device settings.
While we strive to ensure colour consistency, slight differences between product batches may occur. Products purchased at different times may exhibit minimal tonal variations due to fabric dyeing processes.
If you require an exact colour match for a reorder, you may request a fabric sample, with the shipping cost to be borne by the customer.

All content on this Website — including photographs, texts, data, product designs, graphics, and other materials (“Content”) — is the exclusive property of La Gallina Matta Italy S.r.l. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and design laws.

4. Orders and Payments

Products displayed on this Website are available for purchase while stocks last.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase; the contract is concluded once you receive our order confirmation email.
La Gallina Matta reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for valid reasons, including — but not limited to — stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
Payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments or PayPal; La Gallina Matta does not store or have access to credit-card details.

5. Prices, Taxes and Duties

Prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include VAT for customers within the European Union.
For deliveries outside the EU, VAT is not applied.

Orders shipped to the following countries are delivered on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis — import duties and taxes are already included in the total price, and customers will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery:
European Union countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden), United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, and Iceland.

For all other international destinations, orders are shipped on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis — this means that import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the price and are the responsibility of the customer upon delivery.

If the recipient refuses delivery due to customs charges, the package will be considered abandoned and disposed of by the carrier, and the order will not be eligible for a refund.

Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown at checkout before payment is completed.
La Gallina Matta reserves the right to modify prices, promotions, or product details at any time without prior notice.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We ship worldwide via express courier (DHL or FedEx).

Orders are usually processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days from the date of purchase.
Please note that during peak periods or for large orders, processing times may extend to 5–7 business days.

Delivery times vary depending on the destination: approximately 3–5 business days within Europe and 5–7 business days for international shipments.

We ship to the following regions at the rates listed below:

• European Union: €15 — Free shipping on orders over €180
• United Kingdom: £15 — Free shipping on orders over £180

La Gallina Matta cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier or customs clearance.
Upon delivery, please check that the parcel is intact and corresponds to your order. In case of visible damage, sign the delivery receipt “Accepted with reservation” and contact info@lagallinamatta.com immediately.

7. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order, for all items that are not personalized (i.e., without added monograms, special embroidery, or made-to-measure sizes).

To request a return, please contact info@lagallinamatta.com within 14 days of delivery. Once your return request has been approved, we will send you a return shipping label via email. The item(s) must then be shipped back within 14 days of receiving your order.

Returned items must be unused, unwashed, and in perfect condition, with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these requirements.

Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense and are as follows:

• United States & Canada: €35
• Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia & Montenegro: €30

Refunds will be issued once the returned products are received and verified in their original condition.
Personalized or custom-made items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

8. Legal Warranty of Conformity

All products are covered by a two-year legal warranty under Articles 128–135 of the Italian Consumer Code (implementing EU Directive (EU) 2019/771).
If a product does not conform to the contract, please notify us within a reasonable time and we will repair, replace, or refund it in accordance with the law.

All photographs, designs, product layouts, graphics, and written materials appearing on this Website are the exclusive property of La Gallina Matta Italy S.r.l. or its licensors.
